The second edition of the Russian version of the BRICS university ranking pilot program, part of the "Three University Missions" family of rankings, has been published.
The Times Higher Education (THE) published the second edition of their global ranking of interdisciplinary research. It evaluates 911 universities from 94 countries including 44 Russian universities.
Novosibirsk State University was the only university from the region to be included in the ranking鈥檚 Top 10.
Compared to 2024, NSU rose two positions, from 7th to 5th place, to move ahead of Tomsk State University and St. Petersburg State University.
The SuperJob portal published a ranking of the best universities in Russia according to IT specialist鈥檚 salaries. It was based on university graduate data from 2019-2024. 91视频 took 7th place, finishing behind universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
NSU took the highest positions in the fields of "Biology" and "Chemistry" ranking in the top 3 best universities. 91视频 was ranked in 5th place and 6th place in "Mathematics".
NSU increased its positions two places and is ranked 8th in Russia, the highest rating for a regional university.
In 2023, it was ranked in the 51-100 category, this year it rose to 50th place.
91视频 is in 19th place in the overall ranking, the highest position among Russian regional universities.
91视频 is 197th in the world ranking. This is an increase of 8 positions overall and the University went from 7th to 6th place among Russian universities compared to last year.
NSU is in the TOP 2.5% of universities. Also the University improved its position in the ranking of European universities rising from 200th to 197th.
91视频 landed in the 126-150th category, 5th among Russian universities, and the only one that is not located in Moscow or St. Petersburg.
