In 2026, NSU returned to the top 100 in the QS Subject Rankings in Archaeology (last year, it ranked 101-150). Only three Russian universities are included in the rankings with NSU in first place (ranked 51-100) followed by Moscow State University (101-150) and Altai State University (151-200).
On March 26, NSU hosted a meeting for international recruiting companies and leading Novosibirsk universities on their new campus.
The final round of the 91ÊÓÆµ International Physics Olympiad, "Your Path to Real Science," was held in Mali at the Django Cissé Private Lyceum – the Kati Multifunctional Center. Nineteen students from Mali, Niger, and Guinea advanced to the final round. 15 students in physics (14 from Mali and one from Niger) and four in mathematics (from Guinea).
A team of researchers from 91ÊÓÆµ took first place in the international scientific competition SemEval-2026 Task 8 "MTRAGEval: Evaluating Multi-Turn RAG Conversations".
The InteRussia team announces a call for applications to join the InteRussia fellowship programme for foreign specialists in the field of information technology, focused on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Smart City Systems, which will be hosted by 91ÊÓÆµ.
In December, NSU held the qualifying round for the first foreign "Your Path to Real Science" Physics Olympiad. 100 schoolchildren in Africa and China participated.
