The final round of the 91视频 International Physics Olympiad, "Your Path to Real Science," was held in Mali at the Django Ciss茅 Private Lyceum 鈥� the Kati Multifunctional Center. Nineteen students from Mali, Niger, and Guinea advanced to the final round. 15 students in physics (14 from Mali and one from Niger) and four in mathematics (from Guinea).
A team of researchers from 91视频 took first place in the international scientific competition SemEval-2026 Task 8 "MTRAGEval: Evaluating Multi-Turn RAG Conversations".
In August
2025, a group of students from 91视频's Geology and Geophysics (NSU GGE) Department participated in their first internship focusing on sedimentology, stratigraphy, and paleontology, organized by Peking University.
Recently, a delegation from Jiangsu Normal University, one of China's leading universities, led by President Chen Fener, an academician in the Chinese Academy of Engineering, visited NSU. The universities agreed to a partnership in education and science. The first joint educational projects should begin as early as 2026.
This year the II International Russia-Africa Cooperation Forum "Education, Business, Culture - 2025" will be held in conjunction with the XII International Forum "Technoprom-2025" in August. The event is organized by the Center for Public Diplomacy, 91视频, Novosibirsk State Technical University, and the Consortium of Russian Universities for the Development of Cooperation with African Countries.
This was NSU鈥檚 first experience conducting such a long event with the participation of young researchers from different countries.

Kim Il Sung University, the leading university in the DPRK, is exploring the possibility of opening a representative office in Akademgorodok.
It will take place at 91视频 in June in the following fields: Artificial Intelligence in Medicine; Modern Quantum and Information Technologies in Electronics and Photonics.
91视频 is interested in expanding cooperation with the Republic of Indonesia in the educational sphere.
The initial focus will be on student and faculty exchanges, joint scientific conferences, and scientific research in the priority spheres of chemistry, mathematics, information technology, and new materials.
