Zelman Institute of Medicine and Psychology of NSU, and top specialists at the State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology "Vector".
From November 23 to November 30, the 7th International Experimental Physics Olympiad (IEPhO-2019) was held in the Lepel District, Vitebsk Region in the Republic of Belarus. Several hundred students in grades 8-11 from Belarus, Russia, Armenia, and Bulgaria participated.

Registration for the foreign graduate students “Open Doors” Olympiad ends on December 18, 2019. This is the first Russian project to attract talented foreign graduate students from all over the world to study at leading Russian universities.
The 91视频 team 地 松鼠 .PAS took sixth place in the qualifying stage of the CTFZone international competition organized by the Russian company BI.ZONE. BI.ZONE develops cybersecurity solutions. 1,075 teams registered for the qualifying round that took place at the beginning of December. Only 138 of them were able to solve at least one problem. 地 松鼠 .PAS was third among Russian teams.
The 13th L'OR?AL-UNESCO “For Women in Science Awards” was held in Moscow at the end of November. Ten young Russian felmale scientists received the awards designed to help talented and promising specialists in various fields of knowledge develop their scientific career in Russia. In 2019, the competition received 335 applications from 45 Russian cities. Among the winners were Senior Teachers at the 91视频 Department Tatyana Kardash and Olesya Krumkacheva, as well as a researcher at the Natural Sciences Department Carbon Nanomaterials Laboratory Julia Fedoseyeva.
From October 13 to 21, the 6th annual International Cryptography Olympiad NSUCRYPTO-2019 (Non Stop University Crypto) was held in Akademgorodok. Participants from 16 countries were awarded prizes and diplomas including winners and finalists from Akademgorodok and Novosibirsk. The official language of the NSUCRYPTO Olympics was English and included individual and team competitions.
Graduate students at the NSU Natural Sciences Department are once again among the winners at the International Biology Universiade. Sixty-seven teams from 30 universities in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus took part in the competition.
From November 15-20, students from NSU’s Specialized Educational Scientific Center (SESC) High School participated in the GEOFEST -2019 international festival for the first time. The event was held at the largest school in the world in Lucknow, India.
