Next seminar "Actual problems of applied mathematics" will be held on March 3

The next seminar  will be held on March 3 at 5:00 pm (UTC+7).
Seminar heads: RAS academician I. A. Taimanov, RAS corresponding member S. I. Kabanikhin, RAS corresponding member A. E. Mironov, Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences M. A. Shishlenin.

V. A. Yurko (Chernyshevsky Saratov National Research State University) will present his talk "Method of Spectral Mappings in the Theory of Inverse Spectral Problems".

The talk is devoted to the study of nonlinear inverse problems of spectral analysis for ordinary differential operators. The main attention will be paid to the method of spectral mappings, which is currently the most efficient and versatile tool for studying various classes of spectral inverse problems. This method will be compared with the wave method created by V. A. Marchenko and B. M. Levitan.
