Euler International Mathematical Institute (St. Petersburg) invites students, graduate students and young scientists to take part in the First School of the Euler Institute on Quantum Algorithms, organized jointly with Gazprom Neft corporation. The workshop will be held in St. Petersburg from 5 to 12 December 2022.

During 6 days of work, participants specializing in quantum computing, algebra, geometry, differential equations, discrete optimization and parallel computing will listen to lectures and work in groups under the guidance of curators. Each of the groups will have to propose a solution to one of two problems (the problem of dimensionality reduction for the problem of logistics of drilling rigs, the problem of determining the kinetic coefficients of chemical reactions).
At the end of the work of the school, on Monday, December 12, there will be a presentation of projects and the announcement of the winners of the school. The winners receive a letter of thanks and the opportunity for an internship at the Euler Mathematical Center.
