The results of the project competition, which was announced in November 2023, have been summed up. Projects participating in the competition are aimed at developing new relevant research topics in the field of mathematics and related fields, as well as involving young people and deepening international integration.
As part of the celebration of Logic Day on January 15, an online conference 鈥淲orld Logic DayWorkshop 2024鈥� will be held, organized by employees of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok and Nazarbayev University (Astana, Kazakhstan). Invited speakers will be made by Professor Viktor Lvovich Selivanov (ISI SB RAS), (National University of Singapore) and (Vienna Technical University, Austria).
Fr om December 19 to 20, 2023 Institute of Mathematics named after. S.L. Sobolev SB RAS, together with the Mathematical Center in Academgorodok, is holding the December Readings conference. The conference is interdisciplinary in nature, wh ere young and leading scientists from different scientific schools and areas can meet and try to convey the essence of their research to a wide scientific audience. The scientific program of the conference will consist of plenary reports.
The conference 鈥淎lgebra, Geometry and Algebraic Geometry鈥� dedicated to the memory of Alexander Zigfridovich Ananin will be held at the Institute of Mathematics named after. S.L. Sobolev of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Alexander Zigfridovich was an employee of the Department of Ring Theory at the Institute of Mechanics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences from 1972 to 1995, after 1995 he worked in Brazil.
