On October 28, this Saturday, there will be an open day at the Institute of Mathematics named after. S. L. Sobolev - the largest research center in the field of mathematics in Russia in terms of the number of employees. Most MMF students specialize at the Institute of Mathematics. 

During the meeting the following topics will be raised:

• Work and life from student to professional mathematician based on the experience of Institute staff.
• Staff research projects and student opportunities in these projects.
• Specialization at the Institute of Mathematics.

Training, internships and work abroad, the work experience of Institute employees in industrial and business companies, work with grants, prospects and life of researchers will be discussed.
